Bio

Bénédicte Grailles is a lecturer in archival science and director of the Masters in Archives at the University of Angers since 2004. Doctor of history from the University of Lille, member of the Temos laboratory (Temps, mondes, societies, UMR CNRS) and of the group Alma (archives, books, manuscripts and other media). Her research focuses on professional and spontaneous practices around archives, on the emergence of social and activist archival heritage and on the uses of archival material. She is also conducting studies, in collaboration with Leria (Angers Computer Studies and Research Laboratory). She is currently coordinating the Pellet-Mail program (e-mail exploration, delivery and evaluation platform).

Bénédicte Grailles est maitresse de conférences en archivistique et directrice du master Archives a l’université d’Angers depuis 2004. Docteure en histoire de l’université de Lille, membre du laboratoire Temos (Temps, mondes, sociétés, UMR CNRS) et du groupe Alma (archives, livres, manuscrits et autres supports). Ses recherches portent sur les pratiques professionnelles et spontanées autour des archives, sur l’émergence de patrimoines archivistiques sociaux et militants et sur les usages du matériau archivistique. Elle coordonne actuellement le programme Péle-mél (plate-forme d’exploration, de livraison et d‘évaluation des méls) en collaboration avec le Leria (Laboratoire d’étude et de recherche en informatique d’Angers).
